On Sunday, May 17, 2026, RVA Tropical & Exotic Plants returns to Triple Crossing Beer (Fulton) for our Plant Swap. This event is free and open to the public, serving as a central hub for plant enthusiasts of all levels to trade, shop, and learn.
What to Expect at the Swap
Local Plant Vendors: Shop a curated selection of specimen-grade tropicals, including rare Hoya, Anthurium, and Philodendron from the region’s most dedicated growers.
Handmade & 3D Printed Goods: Explore our maker section featuring botanical resin art, 3D printed garden tech, and handcrafted body products designed specifically for the plant lifestyle.
The Free Table: Our signature community exchange. Bring a plant or cutting to leave, and take something new home. No contribution is required to participate.
Door Prizes: We are giving away rare plants and artisan-made goods throughout the afternoon. Check in at the welcome table for your free entry.
The Provenance Challenge: Expertise on Display
We believe in the "why" behind the plant. This month, our vendors and makers are participating in the Provenance Challenge. Every table will feature a Provenance Card detailing the science and craft behind their items. Learn about specific substrate mixes, acclimation timelines, resin techniques, and 3D printing materials directly from the experts.
